Tesco starts selling Motoluxe in white

Motorola Mobility has launched a white version of its Motoluxe handset today (12 April). The Android-powered phone is available for free from £20 per month via Tesco Mobile.

The device has a four-inch touch-screen and runs on the Android Gingerbread OS. It uses Motorola's MotoSwitch interface, which makes the most commonly used apps and phone numbers easily accessible. The Motoluxe has an eight-megapixel camera and features a lanyard slot that lights up when a user has missed a call or text, or when the battery is low.

Motorola Mobility UK and Nordics marketing director Victoria McManus said: 'The new Motoluxe in white offers even more choice to UK fashionistas when it comes to smartphones that combine sleek style and high-end features that won’t break the bank. Not only does this smartphone have a big screen and the latest, greatest entertainment tools, it’s affordable and combined with Tesco Mobile you’ll be sure to have plenty left over to take your brand new smartphone out and show it off.
