Vodafone launches new mobile tablet



Vodafone Qatar in collaboration with Intertec has launched the new Samsung Galaxy 7 Plus mobile tablet. “The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus is ideal for customers who value portability and power on the go. The Tab 7 Plus can slip into your pocket without you noticing and I am sure that this amazing feature-packed device will appeal to our first-time tablet customers,” Phillip Worsley, head of Operations at Vodafone Qatar said. According to Vodafone, the Samsung Galaxy 7 boasts the size of a paperback book but possesses the computing power of a laptop. The 345g lightweight and compact tablet can be operated with a single hand and offers enhanced portability through the light and slim 7” form, and advanced productivity powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, fast Internet speed and updated Android Honeycomb 3.2 platform with Samsung TouchWiz. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus offers social, music, and readers Hubs, which allows users to easily integrate and have real time access to multiple e-mail, instant messaging, and social networking accounts through one portal. It also gives them the chance to access an extensive catalogue of popular and classic songs along with artist information, album art, critics’ reviews and more. Readers Hub allows users to access over 2.3mn e-books, thousands of newspapers and magazines in up to 49 languages.
