Looks like Tablets price war has been started, first it was RIM with Playbook then Motorola with XOOM and now Sony has also announced a price reduction for Sony Tablet S. A discount of $100 is available for customers in the United States.
After the price cut the Sony S tablet 16 GB version will cost $399.99 (Rs 21,400) and the 32 GB version will be available at $499.99 (Rs 26,600). The price cut is only available for US customers and it is currently not available in India as per the officials at Sony India.
The offer will be announced soon in India following the price cuts by other Tablet manufactures. Customers can buy the discounted tablet from the official website of Sony or from Amazon.
